The KEF KF92 Subwoofer is aimed to produce the complete character of any recorded bass, equipped with dual 9 inch drivers and force cancelling configuration that provides enhanced depth, dynamics and detail. The KF92 Sub uses a unique bass driver design to match the award-winning KEF R series. The hybrid aluminium/paper twin 9” drivers are coupled with a massive motor system and vented voice coil. Improved linearity and low distortion level ensure that detail is kept, regardless of volume of the subwoofer. The sound produced by the KEF KF92 can fill even the largest of spaces due to the optimized excursion characteristics. Frequencies of as low as 11Hz can be achieved with the KF92 subwoofer.

The back to back placement of the force cancelling configuration drivers maintain the perfect balance and clean bass with sound pressure levels of 110dB. Using Class D amplification of 1000 watts (RMS) with 500W per driver, the KF92 produces a brilliant amount of power retaining time accuracy and dynamic response. The sealed box cabinet is compact to allow for flexibility of positioning and a low profile heatsink keeps an optimum thermal condition.

The KF92 uses Music Integrity Engine digital sound processing, which optimises the relationship between the cabinet, drivers and amplification with the help of MIE’s intelligent bass extension. The input signal is analysed by DSP and then iBX intelligent bass extension is applied allowing the subwoofer to play loud sound and remain dynamic at every listening level. The placement-dependent EQ enables seamless integration into every room with a simple movement of five-position switch.
